Our Wet Day in the Wetlands!
Today we went to the Wetlands!
We brought our brother, Charlie. He cannot always come with us because he is so old. (He is fourteen, but we are only nine each.)
It's hard for Charlie to walk up hills sometimes. But Mom said today's walk was in a flat place. (Mom LIED, but more on that later.)

It started to pour rain when we got in the car. But Mom said we could go for a ride anyway.
When we got to the park, though, the rain had stopped. We were like, Hooray!
We like the Wetlands because there are lots of side trails to nowhere!
Charlie thinks we are on a sniff, not a walk. But we love him so we wait while he does a sniff.
We stopped at Charlie's Bridge.
But where is Greta's Bridge? Where is Waddles' Bridge? We are going to find out.
We wanted to stray (to find our bridges!!!), but Mom said no.
This bridge didn't have a name on it. It is our bridge now.
We went on a side trail. It went down a hill into a creek!
Charlie splashed right into the water!
Then he sat down and got so muddy. Guess who got a bath when we got home? It was Charlie!
There were some good flowers and swamps.
We had a great time -- and no baths for us!
