We Learned About History!
Today we visited the Richmond Slave Trail and Ancarrow's Landing. It made us sad to learn (or, in Greta's case, be reminded) about the terrible things that people can do to each other. It was hard to be in a place where so many bad things happened. We already knew that black lives matter, but it is important to keep educating ourselves, even if we are just dogs. The whole trip was not sad! We saw wildlife! We saw all the geese there are! They jump into the river as a team. We saw a turtle! And another turtle! And this turtle, too! We saw an osprey and a bald eagle, too, but they were fast. It is weird that there are so many beautiful things and so many ugly things in the same world.
